Radium Hot Springs Guide
Welcome to Radium Hot Springs!
Enjoy a day of warmth and relaxation in Canada's largest hot springs pool in Radium Hot Springs, located only 264 km (165 mi) west of Calgary and 1 km south of Kootenay National Park on Highway 93. The waters of this odorless hot spring are temperate at 39ºc (103ºf) and surrounded by the magnificent Canadian Rockies. Highway 93 leading west is a sight to see in itself, as the red cliffs of the Sinclair Canyon line the edge of the road and tower over cars making their way in and out of Radium. Visitors can experience a wealth of world-class facilities, including spas, restaurants, shops and golf courses. Radium also has a large choice of outdoors activities such as alpine and cross country skiing, rafting, hiking, backpacking and wildlife watching. Kootenay National Park offers ample opportunity for outdoor exploration, with a number of hanging glaciers, waterfalls, picturesque mountain summits and more.
